Elegant antique French Napoleon III era papier mache oil & vinegar cruet stand, mother of pearl inlays with turned wood center handle and gorgeous wheel cut glass decanters!
Okay, so we normally find and offer beautiful old French sterling silver cruet sets but I simply couldn't pass this one by, both because I love Victorian papier mache pieces but also because this one is simply pristine! Beautiful wheel cut glass bottles with flared spouts, long elegant facet cut stoppers and the shimmering multi-colored mother of pearl chip inlays make it as elegant as can be. A wonderful addition to any fine dining ensemble! Very good to excellent condition.
I see no chips or flaws to the papier mache base/stand and even the lacquer is free from crazing as you commonly find. No chips to the bottles, possibly a few tiny nips but no large chips, cracks or damage. We're easy to deal with.
