A charming Belle Epoque era Antique French sterling silver and cut crystal 6-piece liquor set. Comprising of a stoppered decanter and five shot glasses. Featuring exquisite engraved pattern of vertical lines and dots, further decorated with deep wheel cut starburst to the bases. Unsigned, though likely Baccarat predating the 1936 acid etched labels. The famed cristallerie used paper labels beginning in 1860 until 1936, which often got lost, worn or washed away. 950 sterling silver collar and base, enhanced with an elegant neoclassical patterned frieze of laurel leaves and berries. Hallmarked with the French Minerve 1st standard mark, in use from 1838, which guaranteed the finest quality silver of. 950/1000 purity 95% pure silver and a higher grade than the standard. In overall good antique condition with general wear commensurate with age and use. Decanter stands 7 3/4" height x 2 7/8" wide.
