An Antique Etched Glass & Silver Decanter w. DESCRIPTION: The'Decanter' has the following features.
Elongated bulbous form with extended faceted neck. Probably intended for wine, clearly multifunctional. Cast solid figural stopper depicting'Cupid / Eros. Elaborate etched glass grape and vine decoration.
Renowned maker in Charles Boyton. A genuine antique at 120 years old. CONDITION: In very good condition.
Very slight distortion to the silver collar (see photos). INFORMATION: Assayed: London, 1898 (Conforming hallmarks to collar and stopper) Maker: Charles Boyton. Height: 20cm (26.5cm with stopper).
